Water Heater Floods Basement in Idaho Falls, ID

A leaky water heater flooded this Idaho Falls, Idaho basement.  The owners were out of town and several days passed before the problem was discovered.  SERVPRO of Idaho Falls was called to dry out the basement.

Given enough time clean water can turn dirty.  That is what happened here.  As a result all of the carpet and pad could not be saved and had to be removed.

Luckily, the water heater only had a small leak or a lot more of the basement would have flooded.  SERVPRO's customer was very happy with the result and relieved that the entire process took such a short time from beginning to end.
